Alyogyne huegelii is native to the south west of Western Australia. This plant is sometimes called a Native Hibiscus, or a Lilac Hibiscus and at one time had the scientific name of Hibiscus huegelii.

long flowering season, producing large numbers of flowers. The flowers are attractive
It can be damaged by heavy frosts, but seems to tolerate light ones fairly well.
